Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pot, add a bay leaf, cinnamon and 4 cloves. Saute it for a min. Add in 1 medium chopped onion, 3 garlic pods and saute for couple of mins. Add the chopped spinach & saute for 5-7 mins till it shrinks. Blend it to a smooth puree. Add water as required and pour this back into the pot and add salt/pepper and let it boil. Mix 2 tsp of arrowroot powder with 2 coconut tbsps of milk(or as required). Pour this into the soup and mix well.
